Lana'i Discovered.

The island of Lana'i is truly the best kept secret of Hawaii.
I can't believe I never went before now!
Some of my favorite parts of Lana'i:
* There are zero stoplights on the entire island.
* Population: 3,193
* It is 13 miles wide by 18 miles long.
* There are DEER and PINE TREES.
* The temperature is at least 20 degrees cooler in Lana'i City.
* Everything closes by 8pm.
* The only car you are allowed to rent in Lana'i is a jeep: which means you can go ANYWHERE you want.
* Nicest.people.ever.
* Blue Ginger Cafe brownies.

The plane carried 8 people. 10 if you included the pilot/co-pilot.

I was scared out of my mind.
Any tiny guest of wind sent my heart into my throat.

 We stayed up at the Four Seasons Koele Lodge. I LOVED every little part of this hotel. It has a British vintage feeling to it and there were awesome things to look at around every corner. Giant fireplaces in the lobby and creepy paintings of stuff. (I didn't get any pictures...)
This was the apothecary dresser that was outside the "Trophy Room" (game room). I fell in love with it. There were probably about 200 little drawers.

 We're all very unique in our fashion sense...

Our Beloved Blue Ginger Cafe.
We ate 4 meals here in the 4 days we were there.

What Trent did most of the trip...The Republican Party of Hawaii has been stressing him out.

This Jeep got us everywhere and anywhere we wanted to go.

Sweetheart Rock : We snorkeled out to this rock and saw some of the biggest urchins I've ever laid my eyes on. I was so scared for my feet when I was trying to crawl onto the rock.

Back on Oahu...none of us wanted to be there.
Thanks for the great trip guys! I can't wait to visit Lana'i again one day.
