Holli Jolly Christmas.

My Christmas was so, so very wonderful.
I was extremely happy to see Sarah after a couple years and we definitely picked up where we left off.
It was like we had never been apart.
I am so incredibly blessed to have friends that are truly, fantastic people.

Our Christmas Eve day consisted of a drive down Pacific Coast Highway, blasting classic holiday tunes, antiquing, and visiting the Historic District of Crystal Cove in Newport Beach. There was the most beautiful Christmas Tree and cutest little houses right on the beach! Beautiful little shacks.

I could definitely make myself at home in one of these cozy cottages.

That evening we went down to Strands to watch the sunset and it was definitely a great show. Sparkling cider and foam cups in tote,  we were the certainly the classiest.

Went home, made my favorite Christmas cookies (Peanut Butter Blossoms) and watched Meet Me in St. Louis. I cannot think of a single other thing I could have done that would have made my Christmas more great. The holiday season was in the air and I was just, pardon the pun, Holli Jolly.

At midnight, we decided...."Hey, there are no parents here! Nobody can tell us we have to wait until morning to open our presents!" So, at precisely 12:01 am, we opened stockings and presents.

More adventures of Sarah and Holli to come!

Twas a truly spectacular Christmas! I would say it was "the best" Christmas ever but then I would have to feel guilty for not saying a family Christmas was the best and then I would feel guilty for not feeling guilty because it really WAS the best and you can see how that could go on forever.
