Another quick, impromptu trip to Arizona.

Babies, babies, and more babies.

When did I become this old??

All of my friends have toddlers or newborn babies.

All of which I ADORE.

It was such a great trip to catch up and just relax.

I thoroughly enjoyed all of the people in the following photos.

Why can't I get all of the people I love in one place?

I wish I could build a town. 

I would put all of my favorite people in it

and it would make me the happiest person alive.

Open Water.

A couple of weeks ago, my dear friend Hailey came to visit

and invited me on a sailing escapade. It was so much fun!

We saw dolphins, listened to fun music, and enjoyed a 

beautiful sunny day in the sea. 

We cruised around Balboa Island for a little while

and looked at all the crazy, cool houses. 

I am fascinated by that place.

It's like Pleasantville...

THEN, sweet Jess Ramsay invited me to go on a whale

watching excursion with her and it was a blast!

However, we didn't see a single whale...

It was more like: Sea Lion, Dolphin, and Pelican watching.

Fine by me.

These pelicans were amazing! 

They just kept flying up to Jess and I

(we were the only two people sitting on the back of the boat)

and staring at us. They weren't even afraid! 

I'm so glad they posed for a few pictures.

 Somehow I managed to lose an arm...?

Since we weren't seeing anything,

 we got lots of pictures

of ourselves. 

Ok, I was maybe a little sad that we didn't see any whales. 

Jess is so much fun to talk to that I think we forgot we 

were even supposed to be looking for whales. 

We just chit-chatted for two hours and then realized

we hadn't seen anything yet and were

headed back in. 

Free passes for next time though!

That thing...

Do you have that one thing that you could just stare at all day?

For some reason, I am strangely captivated by the sight of bare

tree branches against blue sky. 

I could stare at it for hours.

I'm not sure what it is,

but I like it.

Happy {Birth}day!

I had such a good birthday!

I actually spent most of the day at work, 

but was spoiled rotten by my wonderful

co-workers. 

 I then came home to my room decorated by my sweet roommates

and friends. It was such a happy surprise!

I received phone calls, voice mails, birthday cards,

fun gifts, hugs, cupcakes, flowers, and so, so much love.

Thank you to all of you wonderful people in my life!
